The Mennonite Relief Sale is this weekend at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds in Goshen, IN. This is an extremely worthy event that provides relief to people all over the globe. This year, for the first time, there will be a silent auction to help raise additional money. PLEASE stop in or go on line and BID for the Bread...It's In The Bag gift basket. It's a $63.00 basket that has a variety of items in it. Support a great cause and get a basket full of great food all at once!!! Also, stop by the Apple Fritter tent to buy some apple fritters; you can only get them once a year, so buy a bag full. See you there!!!!
I'm set up at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds for the Special Military Active & Retired Travel club muster (rally). Great people who've gather together with others who have served our country. What a great group of people. Thank you each for the job you've done!!!!! Enjoy your week exploring our county. Stop by and see me in the vendor building.
We survived the nine days we were set up in the vendor building at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair. It was hot and we had long days, but it was fun!!! We saw regular customers, yearly fair customers and made some new customers. We love talking to all of you (so much that I nearly lost my voice). The young lady I sponsored in the Queen Contest was 4th Runner-up out of 50 girls!!!! Congratulations Cassie!!!!
If you make it to the Amish Acres Art Festival this weekend (Aug. 2, 3, 4 & 5), check out the Culinary Mill Market & Deli in Nappanee (closed on the 5th); they carry most of my products and will have a booth at the Festival. The store location is in the old Coppes Bldg. and.at the Art Festival they will be set up in the tent where other Mennonite & Amish vendors will be located. This is one of my favorite stores because they have such a wide variety of bulk food items, fresh deli meats and cheeses - all with the bests prices in the area. Stop by and tell them Sherry sent you!!!!
It's suppose to be 95 degrees today in northern Indiana. Sheesh, that's too hot for me. How's the weather in your neck of the woods? I have a delicious way to cool down - ICED CAPPUCCINO!!! Mix up a pitcher full and enjoy throughout the day. And remember my One Dish Meals for dinner in a jiffy. Add a salad and you'll have a nutritious, made from scratch meal in under 30 minutes.
I don't know about you, but I am busy planting flowers, tending my garden and mowing the lawn. Each evening I have less and less time to get dinner on the table at a reasonable hour. If you can identify with this, you'll want to stock up on my meal and soup mixes. Most of these mixes can be prepared in 25 minutes or less AND without heating up your kitchen. Add a salad and perhaps some bread you've baked earlier (from one of my delicious bread mixes) and you have a fantastic made-from-scratch meal.
Order 5 family size meal and/or soup mixes and I will throw in a mini meal* or mini soup mix* for you to try for free!!! (Offer good 5/25/12 through 6/30/12.) *Mix chosen by me.
This is some BLUSTERY WEATHER we're having. A great day to prepare a pot of soup and some fresh baked bread. Take a look in my catalog and select your favorites. ENJOY!!!!
