It's HOT here!!!

Jun 20 2012 |

It's suppose to be 95 degrees today in northern Indiana.  Sheesh, that's too hot for me.  How's the weather in your neck of the woods?  I have a delicious way to cool down - ICED CAPPUCCINO!!!   Mix up a pitcher full and enjoy throughout the day.  And remember my One Dish Meals for dinner in a jiffy.  Add a salad and you'll have a nutritious, made from scratch meal in under 30 minutes.

Need A Quick Meal?

May 25 2012 |

I don't know about you, but I am busy planting flowers, tending my garden and mowing the lawn.  Each evening I have less and less time to get dinner on the table at a reasonable hour.  If you can identify with this, you'll want to stock up on my meal and soup mixes.  Most of these mixes can be prepared in 25 minutes or less AND without heating up your kitchen.  Add a salad and perhaps some bread you've baked earlier (from one of my delicious bread mixes) and you have a fantastic made-from-scratch meal.

Order 5 family size meal and/or soup mixes and I will throw in a mini meal* or mini soup mix* for you to try for free!!! (Offer good 5/25/12 through 6/30/12.)  *Mix chosen by me.

A bowl of homemade soup and a warm slice of homemade bread - two of my favorite things!!!!!  Once I have both in hand, I love curling up on the sofa to watch a good movie.  In the winter, on about any given Saturday afternoon, my husband builds a fire in the fireplace while I get the soup and bread ready.  This week our movie date will be Sunday and we are going to watch "The Help".  I recently finished reading the book and can't wait to see the movie.  We are going to enjoy some Vegetarian Black Bean Chili and Cornmeal Yeast Bread.  MMM MMM, looking forward to it!!!!  Stock up on SOUP & BREAD MIXES so you are ready for a movie date or a blizzard, whichever comes first.   HAVE A BLESSED NEW YEAR!!!!
