Breakfast Cookies

WHOLE GRAIN, LOW IN SUGAR, EGG FREE 

A healthy breakfast food that tastes like a treat!!!  I created these cookies so my daughter would have a healthy on-the-go breakfast option.  They make a great after-school snack, as well. 

NEEDED TO COMPLETE:

OIL - 1/2 Cup                            VANILLA - 1 tsp.

MILK - 1 1/2 Cup

Additions as desired:  1/3 C. raisins, Craisins, dried cherries, fresh/frozen/dried blueberries, 1/3 C. walnuts or pecans

Pour mix into a large mixing bowl.  Beat oil, vanilla and milk together in a medium bowl; stir into Cookie Mix until completely combined.  Stir in any additional ingredients.  Let set for 3-5 minutes to allow thickening.  Spoon out approx 1/4 C. mixture per cookie onto a lightly greased baking sheet or use parchment paper placed on a baking sheet.  Bake @ 350* for 12-18 minutes.  Makes 26-30 cookies.

Ingredients:  Fresh ground whole-wheat flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, salt.
