NEEDED TO COMPLETE:
1 stick Butter, Cut into 16 pieces 1//3 C. Honey
1 large Egg 1/4 C. Milk
Place scone mix in a large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles course crumbs. In small bowl, beat together honey, milk and egg; add to dry ingredients all at once and stir to combine. Pat dough into an 8" circle (preferably on parchment paper). Cut into 8 wedges. Place wedges 2" apart onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake 12-14 minutes at 375* or until first start to see a light golden color. DO NOT overbake. Makes 8 large or 16 medium scones. To make 16 medium, pat dough into two circles, cutting each into 8 pieces.
Makes 8 large scones. Serve with tea, coffee or milk. Warm nicely in microwave. Ingredients: flour (part whole-grain wheat), oatmeal, Craisins®, Tang®, baking powder, grated orange rind, salt.
