I use 50% whole-grain flour in this mix. You're going to love these soft cookies!!!
NEEDED TO COMPLETE:
3/4 C. - Butter
1 - Egg
3/4 tsp. - Vanilla
6 Tbl. - Sour Cream
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream butter and egg until light and fluffy. Add sour cream, vanilla and the cookie mix. Using an electric mixer at low speed, mix until combined. Use hands if necessary to incorporate all the cookie mix. Cover dough and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
On a lightly floured surface or on parchment paper, roll chilled dough to 1/8" thick. Cut dough into desired shapes. Place cookies on prepared baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until the cookies just begin to show some color. Cool on wire rack. Decorate with frosting, if desired. May also sprinkle with sanding sugar before baking in place of frosting.
Makes approx. 3 dozen cookies.
