White Christmas Noodle Soup


8 cups - Water (Chicken or Vegetable broth)

1 (10 oz.) can or 1 (6 oz.) can - Chicken (precooked & chopped)

Empty contents of bag in a 4 qt. saucepan or Dutch oven.  Add water (or broth) and heat to boiling.  Reduce heat to medium-low and add canned chicken.  Cover and simmer for 6-8 minutes or until the noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.  Remove Bay Leaf before serving.  May also use turkey, ham or browned sausage in place of chicken.  Make 6-8 servings.

This soup pairs nicely with my Cornmeal Yeast Bread, Country White Bread or Oregano Cheese Bread.

Ingredients: egg noodles, country gravy powder, low-fat/low-sodium chicken bouillon, onion, celery flakes, parsley, dried vegetables, bay leaf.
